Job Description
Teacher of Mathematics Certification Required
EFFECTIVE: School Year
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate (CE CEAS Provisional or Standard) with Teacher of Math Endorsement 1900;
- Demonstrated knowledge of NJ Student Learning Standards for Mathematics;
- Knowledge of state assessment test specifications (ie: NJSLA Math) and Industry Valued Credential Assessments;
- Proficient at modeling/teaching/assessing mathematical coursework and effective teaching methods;
- Familiarity with Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways and their connection to academic content;
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds especially in Title I schools;
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
REPORTS TO: Principal
SALARY:As per salary guide
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:10month position
