Job Description

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Consultant within HR Total Rewards Incentive Compensation Center of Excellence. This role will support a specific line of business.

In this role you will:

  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics.

  • Determine areas of strength or Business opportunity within defined scope of work

  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations.

  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables.

  • Present recommendations to develop implement and monitor strategic approaches effectiveness of support function and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business.

  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business.

  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management.

  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and staff

  • This role will be responsible for the Incentive Administration for plans supporting the Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking Wealth and Investment Management Consumer Small & Business Banking or Consumer Lending plans.

  • Manage/oversee the daytoday duties of the incentive plans for which you are responsible for with the ultimate objective of accurate and timely payouts.

  • Provide excellent customer service to plan participants managers and key stakeholders for all inquiries.

  • Collaborate effectively to identify opportunities to improve processes and communicate opportunities.

  • Ability to work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on the various systems and applications supporting Human Resources and Incentive Compensation

  • Ensure incentive calculation is accurate within the Incentive System and retain evidence of the review.

  • Maintain documentation procedures job aids etc. to support the administration process and respective applications/systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years of Business Implementation or Strategic Planning experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Forward thinking with the ability to problem solve

  • Attention to details with a focus on executing effectively.

  • Organizational skills to prioritize tasks.

  • Human Resources/Incentive Compensation experience a plus

  • Experience with Jira and Varicent preferred but not required.

  • Knowledge of Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking Wealth and Investment Management Consumer Small & Business Banking or Consumer Lending preferred but not required.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements skills experience or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$73100.00 $129900.00
