Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Support and/or lead the design and analysis of tailings storage facilities (TSFs) water dams and other mine waste containment systems
Conduct geotechnical assessments stability analysis and risk evaluations
Contribute to project planning and reporting across the full project lifecycle
Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure highquality and timely deliverables
Support business development initiatives and help grow the tailings practice
Ensure adherence to local and international standards best practices and regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Geotechnical or Mining Engineering
37 years of experience in tailings engineering or related geotechnical disciplines
Strong understanding of dam design construction and monitoring principles
Proficiency in geotechnical modelling and analysis tools (e.g. GeoStudio PLAXIS Slide2 etc.
Previous consulting experience is highly desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive and collaborative mindset with strong problemsolving abilities
