Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- $7.25 Hourly NonExempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 40 hours per week
- 100 Remote Work Availability:Yes
- Hybrid Work Availability: No
Purpose of Position
This is a temporary nonbenefited will run from approximately 5/10/24 5/28/24.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To safely combine driving and previous weather/storm forecasting skills while participating in the ATSC 499 course that runs for the two weeks during the early summer session. Position will run from approximately 5/10/24 5/28/24.
Required Competencies
- Good Communication Skills.
- Ability to get along with many types of people.
- Ability to drive long distances.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Drivers License with excellent driving history.
- Extensive background in Atmospheric Sciences and weather at the faculty level
- Successful Completion of a Criminal History Background Check.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with the summer storm course.
- Thunderstorm forecasting experience.
- Prior Teaching Assistant experience
