Manages the daytoday operations of manufacturing monitors and is held responsible for overall operations performance. Implements production cost and qualitycontrol operations ensuring that schedules and performance requirements are met and system resources are used staffing development and performance management programs for operations staff; manages motivates and develops management relationships with business sales and engineering; defines delivers and manages required service levels. Coordinates strategies communications and joint initiatives for facility.Job Description
- Manages product and operations associate outcomes by recruiting selecting orienting training assigning scheduling coaching counseling and disciplining associates; communicating job expectations; planning monitoring appraising and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Achieves product and operations operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production productivity quality customerservice safety security and health standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; identifying developing and implementing system improvements.
- Contributes to product and operations management and organization success by welcoming related different and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
- Determines Plant priorities by reviewing customer orders and requirements; analyzing equipment materials and associate availability; coordinating schedules with sales and warehousing; issuing processing plans and schedules.
- Coordinates Plant processing priorities by reviewing processing output and new requirements.
- Resolves processing scheduling problems by analyzing reports; reviewing equipment materials and associate availability; conferring with processing management; developing solutions.
- Prepares processing planning information and reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
- Contributes to plant and organization success by welcoming related different and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 5 years working in a fastpaced manufacturing environment
- 5 years of leadership experience
- Knowledge of Lean Management and Continuous Improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a unionized environment.
- 9 years working in a fastpaced manufacturing environment
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
