We are looking for a dependable and technically skilled Field Engineer to provide breakfix support for enterprise clients focusing on server infrastructure as well as enduser devices including desktops and laptops. The ideal candidate will respond to hardware and software issues onsite ensuring minimal disruption to client operations and high customer satisfaction.
Perform onsite diagnostics repairs and replacements of server hardware (rackmounted blade tower servers) and related components.
Troubleshoot and repair desktops laptops and peripheral devices across a wide range of enterprise hardware and software environments.
Respond to breakfix service calls and incidents within defined SLAs and document all work accurately.
Conduct hardware swaps part replacements and system reimages as per client standards.
Provide professional customer service while on client premises.
Strong handson experience with server hardware (e.g. Dell PowerEdge HPE ProLiant Lenovo ThinkSystem).
Solid breakfix experience with desktops laptops and common peripherals (printers docking stations etc..
Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows Server Windows 10/11 and BIOS/firmware troubleshooting.
Ability to read and follow technical documentation and service manuals.
Effective communication skills and professionalism in clientfacing situations.
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel regularly.
Certifications such as CompTIA A Server Dell EMC HPE ASE or Lenovo Certified Technician.
Experience working in field service or breakfix roles for enterprise clients.
Familiarity with IT service ticketing platforms (e.g. ServiceNow ConnectWise).
You will be successful in this role if you have:
