Job Description

The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in requirements gathering develop strategy and identify gaps. Create review and execute test cases efficiently.
  • Manage testing capacity risk analysis priorities. Define test data and test environment configuration requirements.
  • Ensure that the product change meets the specification or customer expectation. Communicate and track any defects or differences in function between the program and the spec or customer expectation.
  • Provide timely clear and concise feedback regarding the quality results to the stake holders. Followup on assigned tasks for self and project team members keep correspondence informative and timely.
  • Test status metrics and closure reporting.
  • Develop review execute and approve the results of all automated tests.
  • Analyze current processes and practices. Suggest/drive quality improvements in the development cycle.
  • Mentor QA testers and analysts.
  • Be the subject matter expert for the product or project assigned. Train other analysts in the product features functions and department processes.

Relevant Work Experience:

  • Seven years experience in IT QA.
  • Proficient with testing tools: HP Quality Center or Microsoft Test Manager 4 yrs experience)
  • SQL expertise 4 yrs)
  • Proficient with automation tools including automation architecture (ex. HP UFT Selenium or Microsoft Coded UI) 4 yrs)
  • Data integrity testing using Excel or SQL 3 yrs)
  • Proficient with at least one major programming language 2 yrs)
  • Proficient Web services testing 2 yrs)
  • Managed testing for integration across development teams 3 yrs)
  • Managed test case coverage for a product or project
  • Testing proficiency in multiple SDLCs (Agile waterfall)
  • Experience directing leading mentoring others in QA team 3 yrs)
  • Thorough understanding of major testing types including system/integration regression and Default/error testing 5 yrs)

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with jobrelated skills experience relevant education or training and geographic location starting in the range of $81210.00 $117760.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
