As a Business Analyst you can expect the following in your role:
What youll do:
Lignetics is looking for an IT professional to manage a suite of reports multiple data extractions/manipulations and various reportingfocused databases. This position will report to the Director of IT to:
Maintain Tableau Cloud and Microsoft Power BI reporting for various arms of the business
Ensure the smooth flow of data from multiple data sources to Tableau Cloud and Microsoft Power BI
Develop new reports and report suites as new business requirements arise
Coordinate with internal parties to understand business needs and translate into impactful reporting
Maintain complex Microsoft SQL Server queries and reference tables
Extract and transform raw data from multiple data sources
Regularly audit reporting to validate and reconcile data
What youll need:
Strong skillset around developing and maintaining Tableau reports
Familiarity with transforming data utilizing Tableau Prep
Extensive Microsoft SQL Server / SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) knowledge
Experience with Microsoft Power BI report building and management
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including VBA Development
Ability to translate business needs into impactful reporting
Passion for learning new skills and systems
Excellent People Skills
Skillful verbal and written communication
Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects of varying stages and scales
Ability to resolve complex issues through research analysis and knowledge from prior experience
Attention to detail and solid organizational skills
Ability to interface with endusers for essential functions required for position
