The Abington School District is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to manage fiscal activities and operations and lead a team of administrative support professionals and professional staff in integrating businessrelated services with all district operations. This role includes managing budgeting financial planning fund accounting payroll purchasing investments insurance grant management and compliance with state and federal reporting.

The Chief Financial Officer will supervise the Assistant Financial Officer Assistant Business Manager Food Services PIMS and Business Office Support Staff while ensuring financial controls overseeing audits managing contracts and coordinating transportation facilities and cafeteria services. Additionally responsibilities include overseeing payroll tax data debt service bond and capital project funds and providing guidance and assistance to our foundation PTOs and various parent boosters.

A Bachelors degree and experience in school business administration are required; a masters degree CPA or advanced training in school business management is strongly preferred. Strong leadership integrity and collaboration skills are essential to support district operations and enhance student success. The salary for this position is regionally competitive and commensurate with experience.
