About Elastika:
Elastika is a contemporary restaurant anchoring the first floor of the landmark Moore building in the heart of Miami Design District. Led by Executive Chef Joe Anthony Elastika offers a global approach to modern American cuisine.
Inspired by Miamis international community and The Moores centurylong legacy of art design and culture Elastika acts as a culinary canvas where eclectic dishes and soulful cooking come to life in an approachable environment.

About The Moore:
The Moore is a landmark destination in the Miami Design District comprised of a private members club hotel and a collection of restaurants retail exhibition event and office space. Housed in the Districts circa1922 Moore building the reimagined nearly 90000squarefoot space integrates two fourstory structures located at the intersection of NE 40th Street and NE 2nd Avenue and includes Elastika the sitespecific commission created by the late artist and architect Zaha Hadid for the inaugural Design Miami/ exhibition in 2005.
The redevelopment of The Moore is led by boutique hospitality firm and operator WoodHouse. Founded by entrepreneur Brady Wood WoodHouse creates owns and operates experiential concepts ranging from private clubs restaurants and hotels to live music and entertainment venues.
Position Overview:
At Elastika a Server plays a vital role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our valued guests. As a Server you will represent our restaurant and uphold our commitment to delivering outstanding service and creating memorable moments. Your warm and friendly demeanor along with you attention to detail will contribute to ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for every guest who walks through outdoor.
A successful Server at Elastika will greet guests with a welcoming smile take accurate food and beverage orders provide knowledgeable recommendations and deliver orders promptly and accurately. Your ability to anticipate guests needs address any concerns and maintain a professional and friendly demeanor will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet guests seat them at their tables and provide them with menus.
Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into the POS system.
Offer knowledgeable recommendations and answer any questions regarding menu and items and ingredients.
Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately ensuring presentation and quality meet our high standards.
Anticipate guest needs and promptly address any concerns or special requests.
Clear tables refill drinks and ensure tables are properly set for the next guests.
Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of orders.
Assist with basic cleaning duties such as wiping down tables and maintaining cleanliness in your sections.
Process guest payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
Willingness to come early to shift to attend all Preshifts.

Qualifications
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Server in a highend restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Strong knowledge of men items including ingredients and preparation methods.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members.
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
Positive attitude and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Flexibility in working hours including evenings weekends and holidays based on the restaurants needs.
Minimum age of 18.
Physical Requirements:
- Mastery in carrying balancing and presenting trays with grace and poise.
Ability to stand and move gracefully for extended periods ensuring a seamless service.
Agility in navigating the dining areas with poise and attentiveness.
Strength to lift carry or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
Occasional kneeling bending crouching and climbing as required maintaining the clubs impeccable standards for opening and closing sitework.
