Be a part of our dynamic healthcare family and join our Interventional Radiology team as a Special Procedures Technologist at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in WinstonSalem NC.

Position Highlights:

  • Shift Schedule:Weekdays 4 days per week day shift; with rotating weekday off
  • SignOn Bonus:This position is eligible for up to $15000 signon bonus provided the candidate meets the eligibility requirements.
  • Relocation Assistance:May be eligible for up to $3000 relocation assistance provided the candidate meets the eligibility requirements. Paid within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Location:Atrium HealthWake Forest Baptist Medical Center WinstonSalem NC

What Youll Need:

  • Must meetoneof the following training requirements:
    • Associates Degree from an approved school of Radiologic or Cardiovascular Interventional Technologyoran ARRT/RCIS graduate from a Cardiovascular Interventional Training Program
    • 2 years of work experience in IR or similar modality
  • Registered & Certified by ARRT or RCIS required
  • Advanced Certification (ARRT CV CI or VI)preferred Required within 1 year of hire date
  • Valid BLS Required ACLSpreferred
  • Exceptional oral written and listening communication skills.

What youll do:

Assist in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic minimally invasive percutaneous procedures by utilizing radiographic and other imaging equipment. Employs techniques and procedures that are age appropriate using the accepted standards of practice while demonstrating expertise in limiting radiation and laser exposure to patients and other members of the health care team. Provide support to both employees and physicians as required.
