As a Business Intelligence Engineer on the Growth Recommendations team you will work with our product tech and science teams to create automated and scalable analytical tools that will ultimately be critical in driving the growth and expansion of our recommendations. This includes building and managing the data pipelines for our existing and upcoming recommendations as well as supporting deep dives and driving decision making on recommendation launches or decommissioning. You will leverage data to provide key datadriven insights enable new analyses and innovate on behalf of our Selling Partners.
Key job responsibilities Own design develop document and manage scalable solutions for new and ongoing metrics reports analyses and dashboards to support business needs. Generate actionable insights through the development of metrics dashboards and deep dive analyses. Serve as a technical businessmetrics specialist and insight provider in the organization. Act as a key interface between our stakeholders and product team. Leverage extensive data sets to derive strategic insights that shape business decisions on recommendation coverage and content. Present insights to senior stakeholders in product and tech teams. Work in a fast paced global environment across various functional teams.
3 years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift Oracle NoSQL etc. experience Experience with data visualization using Tableau Quicksight or similar tools Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R SAS and Matlab Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling Bachelors degree or equivalent
Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2 DynamoDB S3 and Redshift Experience in data mining ETL etc. and using databases in a business environment with largescale complex datasets
