Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee Sheraton Fallsview Hotel. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.

The Sheraton Fallsview Hotel is a worldclass 4Diamond rated 670room branded hotel property directly overlooking Niagara Falls. Our Sheraton team looking for Chef de Cuisine with a true passion for food and unrelenting drive to provide an exceptional guest experience the Sheraton way.

Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities:
Responsible for menu development and recipe creation.
Manage revenue costing and budgeting/P&L for the BOH.
Scheduling all BOH team members.
Hiring and training of all kitchen team members.
Education both BOH and FOH on new menu items/ingredients.
Sourcing of products.
Creating and maintaining relationships with vendors.
Ensure strict adherence to Sheraton brand standards at all times.
Other duties as required.

What youll need a Chef de Cuisine:
Experience: 4 years experience in a similar role

Education: PostSecondary degree in Culinary Arts
Certification: InterProvincial Red Seal

Other Qualifications:
Strong budgeting/P&L experience required
Ability to work evenings/weekends
Excellent interpersonal skills
Outstanding attention to detail as it pertains to food quality and presentation
Ability to lead/supervise a team of restaurant professionals
