THIS IS A 2025 SUMMER POSITION LASTING FROM MAY 14th THROUGH AUGUST 5th.
Qualifications for Position:
- High School Diploma preferred
- One year of customer service experience is desirable
- Friendly personality and exhibits politeness when dealing with people and maintains a neat appearance
- Professional communication and organizational skills essential
- Flexible work schedule required including weekends
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to stoop and bend
- Able to lift or move 2550 lbs
Expected Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet guests pleasantly and enthusiastically using their name when possible
- Answer all incoming calls inperson inquiries and general questions about conference events facilities and outlet hours of operation
- Follow all procedures to complete checkins and checkouts of conference guests and summer housing students
- Complete daily Conference Desk checklist
- Graciously handle and follow up on all concierge requests
- Politely remind campers and conference guests of proper behavior and conference expectations when necessary
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with coworkers supervisors other departments guests and the Summer Residence Director
- Stock distribute and manage amenity and supplies inventories
- Maintain a clean and organized Scots Desk and Carter Lobby area
- Report any observed maintenance or security concerns
- Understand and adhere to all safety and emergency response procedures
- Attend regular meetings with supervisors and other management as required
- Complete any special projects duties or tasks as assigned
