Hampton Lumber is a familyowned wood products company headquartered in Portland Oregon. With over 1700 employees we operate ten sawmills in Western Oregon Washington and British Columbia. We also manage timberland and operate a wholesale and export division. Overview
This positions primary function is to keep the facility clean in order to eliminate safety and fire hazards. The individual in this position will work in the Sawmill and Planer; they are asked to perform the following tasks; general facility clean up including picking up slabs sticks sawdust chips off lower mill floors and assist with dust mitigation.
Shift is depending on needs of operation Day or Swing

Responsibilities
- Pick up slabs sticks sawdust and chips off lower mill floors
- Assist with dust mitigation
- Maintain a safe environment andcomply with allsafety policies and procedures
- Apply good housekeeping standards to your work area or any area you observe
- Assist in other areas/jobs in the mill when needed/assigned.
Qualifications
- Completion ofhighschool or equivalent preferred but not required
- Sawmillexperience preferred but not required
- Must be able to safely work at a moderate to fast pace
- Lifting is 2030 pounds on a continuous basis
- Sawmill experience preferred but not required
- Must be willing to learn new skills
- Be a team player and selfstarter
