Team/Opportunity
The Operational Excellence function has been set up to support the realisation of Maersks strategic ambitions and to improve the stability reliability & resilience of Maersks critical services. This will be achieved by bringing in an engineering culture in the way we deliver Operational Excellence @Maersk resulting in delivering value faster and better through automation & optimisation.
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer within the Operational Excellence function you will be an enabler in a fundamental shift in how we manage technology assets throughout their lifecycle. You will be responsible for the rollout of asset discovery tools to all of Maersk (incl. new and existing brands) to ensure we have detailed information about hardware & software installations; and maintenance of the data. Key responsibilities
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyse requirements and translate them into technical specifications and design documents
Design develop and implement scalable reliable and maintainable software solutions using open source technologies that meet the needs of our users and align with our product vision
Write clean efficient and welldocumented code using industry best practices TDD approach and coding standards
Conduct thorough testing to ensure the system is built to the right quality performance and reliability standards
Continuously monitor and optimize application performance maintain data accuracy and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Required experience
9 years experience delivering technical solutions end to end covering development architecture quality assurance and support.
Fluency in Python programming language
Experience in Flask Django framework FastAPI
Good understanding of API driven design REST and asynchronous integrations
Infrastructure as code deployment using Terraform
Experience with Docker Kubernetes Helm Kafka Prometheus and Grafana
Experience with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL(MongoDB) databases
Experience with CI/CD setup using Git
Working experience with cloud solutions Azure preferred
Experience with Web Technologies like XML HTML and Web Services
Hands on experience in integrating data from multiple data sources
Experience in Infrastructure diagnostics
Good understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile development teams

Strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to drive conversations across multiple teams to a conclusion
Proactive and entrepreneurial to find solutions to problems
Open to adapt and learn new skills as required.
