Position Summary:


Responsible for influencing changing and shaping business unit direction in the efforts to effectively and efficiently utilize work and asset management systems. Provide consultation for process improvement initiatives and develop implement and manage an integrated effective workflow design across the Energy Supply organization. Consults and analyzes issues regarding utilization of the work management system (SAP) from an understanding of business processes products and projects. Responsible for results of team projects and crossfunctional coordination. Coordinate and implement continuing education and training involving work and asset management systems. Provide feedback vision and direction for business units business information and work management needs.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with Energy Supply management and staff to independently identify business improvement opportunities including the efficient and effective use of budgeted resources. Design produce and present to business unit management and staff business improvement recommendations that result in process improvement and cost savings

  • Provide analysis on business units business processes costs and goals through understanding of assigned business processes and initiatives and provide clear and actionable recommendations to advise business unit management on business decisions. This includes 1 developing locating and interpreting information to determine cost and value of business unit expenditures and the linkages/impacts to operational measures KPIs and/or business plan strategies; 2 developing and establishing productivity/cost per unit measures and reporting for business units business processes and: 3 challenging information when necessary to ensure accuracy and validity.

  • Effectively utilize the work management systems to design implement improve and maintain the business units business processes. Understand and ensure consistent interfaces between systems including business systems general ledger fixed assets regulatory corporate model and business unit reporting. Ensure user needs are met and data integrity is maintained.

  • Accountable for providing leadership and managing project development activities associated with Energy Supply Work and Asset Management Systems. Manage teams to ensure Daily Management tools are used appropriately and that teams are meeting the expectations of the business unit. Provides primary point of contact with various customers internal and external.

  • Perform special projects and studies as assigned by management and business unit leadership.

Minimum Requirements:


BA/BS degree in accounting business engineering computer science or a combination of education and a minimum of 5 years experience in the energy industry. Must have demonstrated skills in analysis process controls reporting and problem solving. Ability to work independently and with all levels of personnel in Energy Supply and the corporation. Selection criteria may include testing and/or assessment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SAP as CMMS in power generation or other industrial settings

  • Proficient in SQL or similar languages

  • Problem Solving Ability to troubleshoot system and workflow issues

  • Continuous Learning Proactive in learning new technologies

  • Experience with Asset Performance Management

  • Proficient with data visualization tools

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $82800.00 to $117600.00 per year
