Job Description
VisionFirst has an opening for a Manager to lead our Jeffersonville IN office. This position oversees the daytoday operations of the office and works in collaboration with our doctors to ensure the highest level of patient care and customer service is provided to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity to manage in a local employeeowned Optometry practice.
Duties for this position include (but not limited to):
- Works closely with our doctors to ensure the office is efficient productive and always providing the best care to VisionFirst patients
- Supervises a team of clinical and optical staff members
- Manages schedules and timecards for the location
- Assists with hiring and training new employees and provides ongoing leadership and coaching to the team
- Collaborates with a number of departments including Central Scheduling IT and the Regional Billing Office to ensure ongoing efficiency productivity and problemsolving
- Work with patients to resolve any concerns or answer any questions they may have
- Ensure processes policies and procedures are being adhered to at all times
A successful candidate will have the following qualities:
- Excellent customer service skills
- 2 years of demonstrated experience successfully leading a team
- Collaborative with the ability to problem solve and effectively handle conflict
- Highest level of communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and be adaptable to change
- Eager to learn new skills and continuously improve processes
- High level of proficiency with computers and office equipment
