We are seeking an experienced and detailorientedQuality Engineerto support and enhance quality assurance efforts in a precision manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong commitment to continuous improvement collaboration with crossfunctional teams and the ability to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and oversee First Article and PPAP submission packages for customer review and approval.
Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) Gage R&R and process capability studies.
Perform first piece inspections and gage setups as needed for production.
Manage the gage calibration program using GageTrac and coordinate external calibration services.
Lead internal audit processes and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Implement and support preventive quality methods including FMEAs Control Plans NCRs and CARs.
Actively participate in New Part Introduction (NPI) Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and Internal Process Changes (IPC).
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Quality Engineering or a related technical field (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering within a metals manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of CNC machining processes including lathes and mills.
Comfortable working in lowvolume highmix production environments.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Experience with Hexagon CMM and PCDMIS programming (preferred).
Ability to work independently adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple quality initiatives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
