Job Description

Space technology will enable global access to information solutions to climate change answers to global food security products that transform healthcare clean energy production and more. Today rocket launch options are slow expensive and unreliable. Stoke is building the worlds most efficient fully and rapidly reusable rocket designed to fly daily that will radically increase access to space and open up the space economy to safeguard our precious home Earth.

Description

Reusable systems are the key to seamlessly connecting Earth and space. Efficient dramafree technical operations are foundational to these efforts. We are a small and motivated team and as an IT Technician in Stoke Spaces Information Technology department youll play a key role in supporting technical operations across the entire organization. Youll collaborate with product teams in a fastmoving startup environment as we accelerate toward the first launch of Nova. You must be ready to stay focused move fast selfdirect and learn on the fly.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain computers phones peripherals and other IT systems
  • Setup workstations and IT resources for new employees
  • Assist users with support for software applications and configurationissues
  • Respond to and resolve helpdesk requests including basictroubleshooting of hardware software connectivity and user accessissues while escalating more complex problems as needed
  • Assist with the of IT projects including system upgradesmigrations and maintenance
  • Configure support and maintain audio/video/camera systems usedfor meetings video conferencing and facility security
  • Install terminate and troubleshoot low voltage cabling includingnetwork phone and AV wiring
  • Provide technical assistance to the software development avionicsand engineering teams for projects as needed
  • Monitor hardware inventory and manage IT assets
  • Provide a highlevel of service to ensure an exceptional end userexperience
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or higher in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field or equivalent handson experience in a technical support role
  • 24 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environment
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve common software hardware andconnectivity issues
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS DHCP)
  • Able to stoop bend crawl and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Unbeatable drive and ownership with a willingness to act proactivelyto find solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CAD system support
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions

Compensation

Target Levels:

  • Level 1 Range: $34.85 $50.48
  • Level 2 Range: $44.71 $63.70

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen lawful permanent resident of the U.S. protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)3 or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
