Position Requirements
We are seeking an Estimator with preferred (but not required) 5 years of experience in estimating competitive bid projects and conceptual budgeting. The role involves organizing estimating activities reviewing and analyzing project documents developing project conditions and collaborating with the Chief Estimator or Director of Preconstruction. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal communication organizational and analytical skills and be proficient in public speaking coaching and mentoring. A Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience is required. If you enjoy building relationships with subcontractors vendors and clients and have high ethical standards this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Your day as a Carpentry Estimator
As an Estimator at Marous Brothers Construction your daytoday responsibilities will revolve around the intricate art of estimating within the carpentry and interiors realm. You will meticulously analyze project plans specifications and construction documents ensuring all details align with our high standards. Collaborating with project managers and field teams you will gather vital information to craft accurate material and labor estimates making your influence felt throughout each construction phase.
Youll play a key role in preparing and maintaining cost databases helping the team stay competitive while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Engaging in regular meetings youll share insights and innovative ideas that drive project efficiency in carpentry and interiors. Moreover youll be expected to keep abreast of industry trends ensuring our estimating practices not only meet but set benchmarks within the construction industry.
