RECEIVING
Our ideal Receiving team member is a team player who is organized detailoriented and skilled in material handling. They excel at unloading storing and transferring materials efficiently working closely with other teams to maintain accurate inventory. With forklift expertise and a proactive mindset they help keep operations running smoothly while supporting production and shipping needs.

- 40 hours per week during the Spring and Summer.
- 0 hours per week in the OffSeason (Fall and Winter).

The Role
Join the POLYWOOD Shipping Department where youll play a vital role in ensuring our products reach customers efficiently and safely. This is an active handson position requiring physical stamina attention to detail and a commitment to teamwork.
What Youll Do
- Unload store and organize inbound materials to support all teams.
- Work closely with Purchasing Accounting and Inventory Control to verify and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Manage spare pallet inventory ensuring daily sorting and organization.
- Transfer finished products between buildings and support Shipping with material handling tasks.
- Operate forklifts and trucks for material transfers and truck scheduling.
- Keep work areas organized by stocking empty pallets and emptying trash hoppers.
What Were Looking For
- Reliable and proactive employees who take initiative in organizing and supporting daily operations.
- Detailfocused workers who can maintain accurate inventory and manage materials efficiently.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with others.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in handling and preparing shipments.
- Forklift Experience (Preferred): Prior experience or certification is a plus but not required.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adjust to a dynamic shipping environment.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
