Job description
- Apply liquid or granular lawn care products on commercial & residential properties.
- Core aeration and lawn overseeding to customer properties.
- Cleanup of property when completing the lawn care application by clearing pavement areas of lawn care products or other debris.
- Accurately record & submit written and digital records of lawn care applications daily.
- Maintain a high level of quality efficiency and customer service.
- Coordinate products & equipment needed for services.
- Meet with current and prospective customers.
- Clearly communicating with clients about their property and effectively answering questions or directing them to others as needed.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
- Safely drive truck and trailer maneuvering and backing into tight spots such as driveways.
- Assisting with lawn maintenance & landscaping or snow & ice management as needed performing as a team player. Other miscellaneous duties may be assigned.
- Promote company and services.
- Must ensure a safe environment for employees customers and the general public.
- Fulltime W2 position.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 1 year experience preferred.
- Ability to acquire a commercial pesticide applicator license.
- Knowledge of turf care and identification of common weeds insects and turf diseases.
- Broad knowledge of common lawn care products and application methods and procedures.
- Ability to calibrate and apply lawn care products at recommended rates according to product label.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- Proficient in use of iPhone iPad Surface tablet or will train.
- Selfmotivated and a quick learner.
- Possess strong social organizational and communication skills.
