Job Description

The beautiful Duniway and Hilton Portland Downtown are seeking a Front Office Supervisor to help lead their guest services teams! The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

  • Minimum One 1 or more year(s) Hotel experience or similar role
  • Leadership skills and strong communication
  • Hospitable and Friendly demeanor to service our guests
  • Previous hotel/front desk experience required Hilton brand experience a plus
  • A team player with a positive attitude

Hourly Rate: $22.50 per hour

Classification: Full time
Schedule: Must have open availability to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidays; some overnight shifts required on an as needed basis to cover time off etc.

What will I be doing

As a Front Desk Supervisor you would be responsible for greeting and registering guests and checking guests out of the hotel in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Oversees front desk operations.
  • Provides guest service guidance and leadership to ensure consistent customer service is provided.
  • Assigns and instructs team members in details of work.
  • Monitors lobby traffic to make staffing adjustments accordingly.
  • Resolves customer complaints.
  • Trains supervises schedules and assists in evaluating staff.
