Why You Will Love this Job:
Under the direction of the Facilities Manager the Facilities Engineer Coop is responsible for executing facility projects related to HVAC utility piping backup generators fire protection fire alarms fire extinguishers electrical meter and device calibrations. They Coop would assist contractors.
The Facilities Engineer Coop is an extremely wellorganized flexible selfmotivated individual who enjoys the opportunities of supporting our Wisconsin Operations facilities. You must have the ability to multitask and interact well with staff at all levels while remaining positive flexible proactive resourceful and efficient with a high level of professionalism. Excellent written and verbal communication skills the ability to work independently strong decisionmaking abilities and attention to detail are critically important. We are looking for someone who has a friendly disposition and a cando attitude.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages facility related projects and supports manufacturing projects
Assists with building and grounds maintenance
Has basic understanding of utilities
Supports furniture and seating moves
Supports with purchase order requests approving invoices
Project management skills
Attention to detail
Ability to communicate and work with various stakeholders
Must have US drivers license
Work with AutoCAD MS Office Smartsheet
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Working towards Bachelors of Engineering
Experience in facilities maintenance project management or real estate.
Knowledge of SAP and proficient in Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel.
Proficient in AutoCAD
Demonstrated continuous improvement methods problem solving and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lead and work in a team environment.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for periods of time.
