AN APPLICATION FOR PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT CERTIFICATION UNDER THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABORS LABOR CERTIFICATION PROCESS
This Notice is being provided as a result of the filing of an application for permanent alien labor certification for the following job opportunity:
Position Title: Assistant Professor Specializing in Physical Chemistry
Position Requirements: The candidate must have a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry or a closely related field.
A.B.D. (all but dissertation) in Physical Chemistry or a closely related field is acceptable. The candidate must also demonstrate desire to teach foundational undergraduate and graduate courses in chemistry as well as demonstrate record of research in chemistry or chemistryrelated fields as evidenced by articles published in or accepted to peerreviewed journals as well as research presentations at local national or international meetings.
Position Duties: The job duties of the position are as follows: (i) teach three 3 undergraduate and graduate courses in physical chemistry each semester including foundational general chemistry courses for majors and nonmajors and physical chemistry and/or other courses consistent with department needs and candidate interests;
(ii) develop a highquality visible and externally funded research program for undergraduates and/or graduate students with work published in peerreviewed journals; and (iii) contribute to the vibrancy of the university environment by engaging in service at the department college and university levels.

Scheduled Work Hours: This is a fulltime academic position with typical work hours ranging from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
