Overview
The Master of Social Work will work to identify and intervene with atrisk populations to mitigate psychosocial barriers to optimal care workers provide services to children adolescents and adult patients/families/staff at Childrens Mercy and complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans in conjunction with internal and external team members. This position will work primarily with patients who have Hemophilia or other blood disorders and their families but may also work with patients who have an oncology diagnosis. Social Work interventions are provided in both the inpatient and ambulatory clinic settings with significant care coordination to both pediatric and adult patients.
Shift: Monday Friday 8am to 4:30pm

Qualifications
- Masters Degree MSW from Accredited Program
- 12 years experience
- LMSW KS Licensed Masters Social Worker KS must have a license in the state of primary work location upon hire and then be dually licensed in both states within 90 days of employment Required 90 Days
- LMSW MO Licensed Masters Social Worker MO must have a license in the state of primary work location upon hire and then be dually licensed in both states within 90 days of employment Required 90 Days
LCSW MO Licensed Clinical Social Worker MO Preferred
LSCSW KS Licensed Clinical Social Worker Specialist KS Preferred

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $28.25/hr but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home
This position is not eligible to work remotely which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Childrens Mercy locations and may not work from home.
