What does a successful Tech Lead Software Development Engineering do at Fiserv

As a Tech Lead in Software Development Engineering at Fiserv you will play a pivotal role in designing developing and implementing innovative financial technology solutions. You will lead a team of talented software engineers and ensure the development of highquality secure and scalable applications. Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to meet industry standards and our clients evolving needs. This role is an individual contributor role within our organization.

What you will do:

• Lead and mentor a team of developers to build and maintain enterpriselevel applications.
• Architect and design product components on the platform ensuring robust security features.
• Implement and oversee best practices for audit controls user access and database security.
• Conduct architecture design and code reviews providing technical leadership and mentoring.
• Collaborate with business analysts QA architecture and product management teams to ensure alignment with methodologies and best practices.
• Provide development and maintenance support to QA implementation teams and business units.
• Participate in software estimation planning and risk assessment establishing technical vision and evaluating results.
• Stay updated with new technologies and methodologies to adapt and implement in projects.

What you will need to have:

• 6 years of experience in application development on .NET relational databases and distributed ntier application platforms.
• 6 years of experience with C# WCF and expertise in synchronous and asynchronous programming techniques.
• 4 years of experience with JavaScript JQuery AngularJS HTML CSS XML and MVC.
• 4 years of experience with web services SOAP and REST.
• Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related field and/or equivalent military experience.

What would be great to have:

• 2 years of experience in defining and implementing the security architecture of enterprise applications within the .NET family.
• 2 years of experience with SQL Server and other relational databases.
• Knowledge of tools and testing approaches such as AppScan Burp Proxy Sonar and Coverity.
• Experience in the printing domain.
• Extensive experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile/Scrum and waterfall.
• Ability to gather requirements translate them into technical design and guide teams through implementation.
