About the role
As Systems Engineer QMS you will be responsible for developing and enabling new features supporting the application and solving business problems by designing the best solutions. You will be working as integral part of an agile team owning endtoend delivery in the Veeva QMS area.
This includes managing the infrastructure supporting product understanding and designing systems architecture and systems connectivity. Key responsibilities include solution design implementation management infrastructure management and continuous improvement.
Systems Engineer QMS requires expertise in various areas to achieve anticipated objectives. This includes technical proficiency deep industry knowledge commercial awareness solution design and architecture capabilities understanding of compliance and risk management and strong problemsolving skills. This expertise enables innovation informed decisionmaking and successful development and implementation of VQMS.
Key responsibilities
Develop and build IT solutions ensuring functionality usability and adherence to coding standards.
Contribute to the design and architecture recommending technologies to enhance scalability and efficiency.
Propose technical solutions aligned with organizational policies.
Address and resolve complex bugs and technical issues.
Provide support for complex user issues including troubleshooting and training.
Guide technical support for incidents problems and configuration changes.
Understand business processes systems and objectives.
Partner with support and delivery teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Guide business decisions and priorities for issue resolution.
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement staying updated with industry best practices and new technologies.
Why you
Qualifications and skills
Essential
Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementation or maintenance as IT technical support IT systems design and development.
IT background necessary to quickly triage problems and propose solutions.
Experience in the Pharma Quality (preferred) Clinical Regulatory or Safety spaces.
Proven ability to work in selforganized teams in a dynamic and fastmoving environment.
Strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
Strong communication skills to work in a complex global application environment.
Excellent command of English.
University degree in Computer Science / Computer Systems / Industrial Engineering / Software Development.
Preferred
Direct experience with Veeva Quality Vault (QMS or VQD).
Knowledge or experience of Quality processes and / or applications.
Ability to learn new concepts systems and software independently and quickly.
Knowledge of DevOps processes and tools.
Ability to prioritise competing tasks and ensure smooth response to incoming demands.
