Salary: 27000 per annum

Pension: 28.971 Alongside your salary of 27000 Student Loans Company contributes 6977 towards you being a member of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme

SLC now have an exciting opportunity for a highly proficient and knowledgeable Repayment Officer Level 2 to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing repayment customers who have an overdue balance delivering exemplary customer service and providing crucial support to our wider repayments team.

As a Repayment Officer Level 2 you will be responsible for the recovery of overdue balances of student finance through effective communication and negotiation. Establishing affordable and sustainable repayment plans for customers whilst demonstrating empathy and understanding particularly towards vulnerable customers in line with company policies and legislative frameworks.

The successful candidate will also manage repayment customer queries across multiple communication channels while delivering outstanding levels of customer service. They will provide services across a range of SLC products and debt categories adhering to quality and productivity expectations. Their ability to work dynamically across various types of work and deliver exceptional service will be key to their success in this role.

SLC offer a Blend working model which will typically be 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.

  • Understand and interpret a wide range of information to inform advice and decision making
  • Computer literate with ability to work across multiple programmes (Office 365 CRM systems databases etc)
