Our Opportunity:
The Benefit Operations Associate is responsible for assisting with the onboarding and administration of client sponsored plans (CSP). The role requires an individual who is professional understands an Agency Model within a PEO and proactively assists the Benefits Agency Manager and Benefit Account Specialists to maintain our CSP Book of Business. The Benefit Operations Associate will work alongside the Benefits and Implementation team to assist with onboarding renewal preparation and OE coordination activities.
What Youll Do:
- Manages benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick equitable courteous resolution.
- Maintains contact by phone or email with insurance companies general agents brokers employees and clients to facilitate proper and complete utilization of benefits for all employees.
- Assists Manager in evaluating and comparing existing company benefits with those of other carriers by analyzing other plans surveys and sources of information.
- Assists in developing specifications for new plans or modifies existing plans to maintain companys competitive position in labor market.
- Develops census data and solicits insurance companies brokers or general agents for quotations. Evaluates quotations for accuracy.
- Assists with installing new plans/changes by preparing announcement material booklets and other media for communicating new plans to employees.
- Attains renewals from carriers and distributes to benefits team for communication to clients.
- Tracks renewal process in CRM and project management tools.
- Educates internal employees and clients on existing benefits.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Other Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; degree in business management/leadership human resources or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in benefits preferably Agency or PEO experience
- Active Life & Health license required.
