Job Description
Your Impact
- The Finance team manages and supports the business operations of Qualitrols global operation. As a member of the team you will be working directly with the VP Finance and NAM Finance Director supporting global operations as well as Qualitrol Senior Leadership.
Heres where youll demonstrate your competencies:
- Coordinate global submissions of monthly financial results to Fortive Corporation meeting reporting requirements and deadlines. Coordinate the compilation review and submission of various routine and special Corporate reporting requests including the quarterly supplemental files tax audit SOX insurance data etc.
- Support SOX efforts with the regional finance teams to ensure a strong control environment.
- Generate internal management reporting and performance variance communicate with global site leadership and senior management provide business intelligence and proactively highlight performance issues and trends.
- Coordinate compilation analysis and submission/reporting of monthly financial forecasts and the annual budget and strategic plan.
- Assist VP of Finance and Regional Controllers in providing independent oversight of the integrity of business area/legal entity financial results and processes to ensure the proper and accurate accounting and reporting of financial forecasts and results.
- Assist with Accounting activities and oversight functions as required including special financial analysis projects as assigned.
- Drive continuous improvement of the forecasting process to drive transparency streamline workload ensure accuracy and accountability surrounding all key performance metrics including stretch and longterm objectives. Specific focuses will include driving TopLine Growth Margin Expansion Cash Flow Improvements and improved Functional Management Reporting
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- BS or MBA in Accounting
- CPA or CMA (Accounting certification strongly preferred if not certification inprocess is a must)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in public or private accounting setting
- Extensive US GAAP experience
- Operate in a way that never compromises ethics and integrity
- Results driven and willing to take initiative.
- Have strong quantitative and analytical skills as well as excellent written oral and presentation skills
- Be comfortable working in a highenergy quickly changing and dynamic environment
- Ability to drive initiatives across multiple sites and functional responsibilities.
- Capabilities to lead and manage people with a collaborative style.
- Advanced analytical business modelling ERP System experience a plus (Oracle/Onestream).
