Job Description
As a Lab Technician in our Burbank CA location you will help formulate and test sealants coatings and adhesives at lab and pilot scales while maintaining accurate records following safety protocols and supporting lab upkeep and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
With direction from supervisor you will formulate sealants coatings and adhesive materials on a laboratory 500 grams) and 5 gallons) pilot plant scale
Prepare test specimens and conduct tests such as viscosity hardness peel adhesion and tensile and elongation
Follow PPG policies (EHS and others) scrupulously
Collect data and record results in an electronic laboratory notebook
Maintain a clean work environment including routine upkeep activities to support the entire team
Identify opportunities for improvement and share with team members
Qualifications
High school diploma
