Here is what you will be doing
- Dailyload/unloading of materialsto/from trailers and rail cars understand and follow operating procedures and policies
- Learn to operate rail car loading systems and equipment perform work safely and productively crosstrain on all functions at the facility and perform general maintenance on equipment
- Enforce safety policies and procedures with other Team Members and visitors
- Assist with other duties within the facility (general maintenance landscape upkeep and painting)
Requirements of a successful Operator
- Forklift experience 2 years)
- Heavy equipment experience is a plus
- Read write and understand English High School Diploma or GED equivalent basic math skills computer skills (light data entry)
- Valid Drivers License
- Qualified candidates must be able to pass an extensive background check a PreEmployment Drug Screen and a Physical
Here are some of the physical requirements for this role
- This position is outside in ALL weather conditions (heat rain cold temperatures)
- Physically able to climb up and down rail equipment/ladders safely
- Willing to work with break bulk and dry bulk materials
- Can carry at least fifty 50 pounds
