About the position
La Trobe University has a strong and proud history of being one of the early pioneers in nursing education. The Nursing and Midwifery School is one of the oldest tertiary Nursing Schools in Australia and offers a range of quality and market ready education programs. The Technical Officer Nursing & Midwifery role is operational and fits within the teaching and learning support structure of the Office of the Provost for the University.
We are seeking a Technical Officer Nursing & Midwifery to work within the Facilities and Technical Services (FTS) team to support the Nursing & Midwifery teaching program within the Health Cluster in Bundoora. This position will provide a broad range of technical administrative and facilitiesbased support to assist teaching staff and students to achieve teaching learning and research outcomes associated with the School.
Routine tasks include:
This role supports the practical classes of the Nursing & Midwifery students and therefore the successful applicant will need to be available to work 7 hrs 15 mins between the hours of 7.30am and 7.30pm. This will be rostered on a rotational basis.
