SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works under the direction of the Director of Enrollment & Financial Aid for the School of Theology
POSITION SUMMARY: Facilitate the admissions process (from inquiry to confirmed registered and fully enrolled) either at Moravian Theological Seminary or Lancaster Theological Seminary by maintaining continuous contact with prospective students and managing their Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database records. Execute a comprehensive recruitment plan using available resources to meet targeted enrollment goals for all programs of study. Stay current on industry and campus news that could impact the prospective student. Represent and promote Moravian and Lancaster Seminaries in a variety of forums creating relationships with college counselors chaplains denominational leaders alumni current students faculty staff and others who can identify prospective students. Counselor will work primarily from Lancaster campus but need to travel periodically between the two campuses.

QUALIFICATIONS: A masters degree in an appropriate field is required and the Master of Divinity is optimal. Candidates should be able to demonstrate an ability to thrive in a fast and changing work environment excellent collaboration skills and a proven ability to work as part of a team. Experience working with integrated technology systems and tools is a plus. Computer Google Suite CRM database management and social media literacy is required. Excellent verbal written and interpersonal skills are necessary to respond to a variety of people. Successful candidate should be a selfstarter and a team player who can work individually with students have a commitment to customer service and have the ability to be a trusted ambassador of MTS and LTS mission and goals. Requires an ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends to best accommodate student needs. Theological college or graduate school recruitment experience and ordination are strongly preferred.
