Description- Responsible for promoting Mayo Clinics core values and supporting communitybased health care and integrated delivery systems through the sale of Mayo Medical Laboratories (MCL) tests. In alignment with the MCL sales process and the clients they are assigned to work with in collaborative selling.
- Accountable for generating new business revenue and codeveloping with our clients their specific account and/or test selling and promotional strategies.
- In collaboration with the CSR Director Regional Director of Sales Regional Managers and their clients project annual sales growth market dynamics and economic conditions. Codevelop and implement business plans for territory/accounts with the CSR Director Regional Director of Sales Regional Managers and their clients.
- Effectively sell and compel buying influences to move testing to Mayo and their clients by differentiating from competing interests. Coordinate appropriate resources develop presentations and participate in the bid process for new and upsell opportunities.
- In collaboration with Product Managers and the CSR Director Regional Director of Sales Regional Managers identify specific tests or groups of tests that are differentiated in the market and pursue upsells to targeted clients. With regional manager negotiate pricing coordinate contract development and and monitor the accurate lockin of prices.
- Field based sales position and an occasional overnight is required/expected
- Bachelors and three years experience in sales (preferably within the market segment they will be representing (Hem/Onc) physician/client facing contact or negotiating contracts within a hospital or laboratory setting.

- Masters in business medical technology or sciences preferred. Must have excellent human relations management and communications skills.
- Must be accountable adaptable flexible creative dependable responsible and able to perform well within multifunctional environments and be customer focused.
- Ability to manage several projects or tasks simultaneously and to exercise appropriate judgment when prioritizing projects. Decisionmaking and problemsolving ability adherence to Mayo Clinic and MCS policies and procedures.
- Ability to function and work in a diverse work environment while selling MCS Services and providing direction to clients in a concise sensitive informative and professional manner. Keeping a positive and courteous tone particularly in adversarial discussions. Keeping abreast of regulatory issues reimbursement issues and service requirements.
License or Certification:
- Valid drivers license and a good driving record are required along with the ability to travel extensively on all forms of major public transportation.
- FACHE certification preferred.
Position Preferences:
Experience supporting Hem/Onc specialtywithin the following territory: Georgia and South Carolina
