Supply Chain Planning Engineer

The Supply Chain Planning Engineer is responsible for leading Supply Chain readiness for all resourcing activities. This role will also lead projects to support the Supply Chain Planning Strategy.

What you will do:

• Responsible for performing work to achieve corporate supply chain performance targets focused on supplier resourcing PFEP and vendor managed inventory to ensure improved ordertodelivery results.
• Incumbent will be the liaison between purchasing and supply chain for all supplier resourcing activities including supplier onboarding resource transition sample orders and resource inventory buffer.
• The incumbent coordinates and manages a performance portfolio for multiple cross functional work teams deploying the Supply Chain Planning Process which develops the Plan for Every Part and Pull Replenishment methods for a facility. The PFEP process will ensure lead times are accurately aligned and strategic buffer follows EVC process.
• Incumbent is required to work effectively with diverse multifunctional teams in order to apply the supply chain planning process.
• Responsible for Vendor Managed Inventory compliance and documentation.

Education:

• Bachelors degree from college or university related to Supply Chain Logistics Management Industrial Engineering Business or strong supply chain experience preferred.

Top Candidates will also have:

• Progressively responsible supply chain job experience
• Prior experience as a buyer
• Experience and knowledge about CPS supply chain principles Supply Chain Planning analytical tools and inventory management
• Previous experience as a Supply Chain Planning Analyst or Engineer is a plus
• Ability to thrive in an uncertain environment and work independently with a sense of urgency

• Strong understanding and previous experience using common supply chain systems and the ability to coordinate facility efforts.

• Must possess excellent leadership skills to effectively lead supply chain improvements making the best use of available resources while maintaining strong people focus.
• Must possess extremely strong collaborative interpersonal and negotiation skills in order to drive common supply chain processes across multiple departments within a business division.
• Must have advanced analytical and problemsolving skills and the ability to creatively solve very complex problems.
• Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures and solid product knowledge

Logistics Management: Extensive Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.

Procurement: Extensive Knowledge of buying and procurement; ability to work with organizational strategies and practices and use tools for buying goods supplies equipment and services needed to conduct business.

Supply Chain Management MFG: Extensive Knowledge of functions principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use strategies practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.

Summary Pay Range:
