Job Description
Our client in the agriculture industry is looking to employ a Buyer / Stock Controller to join their team based in Bedford Eastern Cape.

Requirements:
Salary structure:
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
- Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office Suite particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bilingual would be advantageous.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality price and delivery time.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure the best deals.
- Coordinate with project managers to determine purchasing needs and establish timelines for delivery.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases supplier interactions and inventory status.
- Resolve issues with suppliers regarding quality pricing and delivery discrepancies.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and making recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry developments and new products related to construction.
