Job Description

MMI Engineered Solutions is looking for a detailoriented and motivated Finance Intern to join our team for a paid internship. This role offers realworld exposure to accounting operations financial systems and crossfunctional collaboration. Youll support both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions while learning key finance processes and tools.
What Youll Gain:
- Exposure to ERP systems including IQMS and Excelbased reporting
- Experience with AP/AR processing and invoice handling
- Understanding of general ledger accounts and financial audits
- Practical involvement in financial scorecard tracking and vendor setup
- Mentorship from experienced finance professionals
What you will do:
- Support Finance departments digitization project (Scanning critical accounting records into digital filing system)
- Assist the CFO with the cycle counting process
- Assist in processing of AP paperwork from completion to the check run
- Assist in processing AR invoicing paperwork for US Component Products
- Audit enter and file all freight supplier invoices
- Manage all customer and supplier files
- Coordinate with other US locations to ensure AR and AP paperwork is received timely
- Collect data and prepare monthly metrics as needed
- Support other accounting projects as necessary
What were looking for:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning new systems
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Interest in manufacturing engineering or business operations
Work environment:
- 100 on site work
- Office setting with daily interaction with manufacturing operations
- Youll be part of a collaborative and supportive finance team committed to continuous improvement
