Job Description

Join the team at a worldclass specialty beverage copacker in Mooresville NC as a blending technician. You will work alongside other team members to safely & efficiently batch products according to written procedures and customer formulas to produce quality popular beverage products for the consumer.

Shift: 1st shift 6:45 AM 6:45 PM

Rotating Schedule

Pay rate: $16.00/hr


Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic knowledge of weight and measures
  • Basic math skills
  • Must report to work on time and have good attendance
  • Flexibility to assist where needed
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift push or pull up to 55 lbs frequently
  • Ability to read write and speak English

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Mix formulas according to written procedures
  • Follow directions of blending leadership about the batching schedule housekeeping items and additional duties/tasks
  • Weigh the partial ingredients label appropriately and reseal with tamper evident tape
  • Clean and sanitize various pieces of equipment
  • Before beginning each batch verify ingredients for correct quantities item numbers expiration dates quality etc.
  • Complete required documentation including but not limited to Batch Sheets Blending Instructions Master Sanitation Schedule Trailer Transfer sheets
  • Maintain traceability and inventory integrity by allocating the ingredients used in each batch using Data Collection programs
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Complete tasks listed on the Master Sanitation Schedule at least at the minimum required frequencies
  • Interact with auditors customers and government officials in a professional and polite manner
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Good Manufacturing Processes
  • Properly dispose of ingredient packaging materials
  • Break down and rebuild ingredient kits to accommodate lastminute changes
  • Participate in the batch approval process assist in root cause analysis of outofspec batches
  • Other duties may be assigned
