Job Description

For years Maryhurst programs have been working to serve children and families in the greatest need. Maryhurst Renewal continues this tradition as it partners with children adults and families who are hurting to find the right combination of support ultimately clearing barriers to success at home at school and in the community. Renewal provides oneonone group and family counseling as well as case management and behavioral modification support in office home or schoolbased settings.


We are seeking a compassionate and culturally responsive CommunityBased Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role you will collaborate with community organizations to deliver traumainformed mental health services tailored to the unique needs of marginalized populations. The ideal candidate is committed to fostering diversity equity and inclusion while empowering individuals to overcome challenges and achieve wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual family and group therapy to clients integrating traumainformed and culturally responsive approaches.
  • Partner with community organizations to identify and address client needs ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and implement evidencebased treatment plans that honor each clients cultural and personal experiences.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and stabilization when necessary.
  • Advocate for clients by connecting them with relevant resources and services within the community.
  • Maintain accurate confidential client documentation in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in community outreach efforts to increase mental health awareness and access.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to deepen cultural humility and enhance therapeutic skills.

Requirements:

A Masters Degree in Human Services. At minimum must be licensed at the associates level (CSW LPCA etc.; independently licensed preferred such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).


Benefits available to Full Time Staff available 45 days from start date:

100 clinical supervision costs covered access to professional development opportunities (including many free CEUs)

Job Type: Fulltime; Monday Friday

Starting Salary: $54000 (associate level clinician)

$58000 (independently licensed clinician)
