Job description
- Perform all irrigation activities including but not limited to setting components excavating and backfilling trenches repairing breaks and malfunctions and winterization of systems.
- Operate power equipment to perform irrigation services including but not limited to trenchers pipe pullers boring units plate compactors line locators drills etc.
- Use irrigation hand tools including but not limited to shovels spades pipe cutters rakes etc.
- Communicate with immediate supervisor about any malfunctioning equipment and all site problems experienced.
- Analyze property needs and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain a high level of quality efficiency and customer service.
- Fulltime W2 position.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 2 years experience preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of irrigation installation service startup winterization and repair.
- Previous experience operating a trencher pipe puller skid steer and backhoe preferred.
- Must have the knowledge and ability to properly identify irrigation problems and take appropriate action to make repairs.
- Backflow Certification preferred or willing to obtain.
- Selfmotivated and a quick learner.
- Possess strong social organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers and customers.
