The Team
The Cranbrook/Kimberley Child and Youth Mental Health Team brings together a closeknit group of experienced clinicians who value collaboration learning and meaningful connection. This supportive team works alongside families schools and health professionals to serve children and youth with a wide range of mental health needsincluding through regional programs like Eating Disorders Early Psychosis Intervention and Infant Mental Health. Rooted in trust and relationshipbuilding this team shows up for each other and the community in a way that makes the work both impactful and deeply rewarding.
The Role
As a Mental Health Clinician with the Cranbrook/Kimberley CYMH team youll step into a role where you provide intake assessment and treatment for children and youth experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges. This opportunity lets you build your clinical skills in a highly supportive environment with strong supervision and a collaborative team. If youre passionate about making a difference and helping kids and families navigate tough times this role offers both purpose and professional growthwith the potential to evolve into a permanent parttime position down the road.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Masters in Counselling Social Work Educational Counselling Clinical Counselling Clinical Psychology or Child and Youth Care or comparable graduate degree at the Masters level in a similar subject may be considered.
- NOTE:If your degree was obtained outside of Canada you need to confirm it has been assessed for equivalency through the International Credential Evaluation Services ICES. You must provide a basic report by the closing date of this posting to be considered.
- Minimum of one year fulltime equivalent experience working with children and youth and their families with responsibility for providing a wide range of community based mental health services.
- Must possess and maintain a valid class 5 BC Drivers license with no restriction or equivalent (i.e. from another Canadian Province).

About this Position:
This is a temporary opportunity until 10/01/26. This position may be extended or become permanent.
Flexible work options are available subject to an approved telework agreement.
