Job Description
Join InterSystems Managed Services as anApplication Support Engineerand help manage missioncritical healthcare platforms like HealthShare and IRIS for Health. Youll ensure system stability performance and uptime across fully managed environmentswhile solving complex issues collaborating with technical teams and supporting our customers with excellence.
In this role youll be part of a fastpaced customerfocused team that supports some of the most innovative healthcare platforms in the industry. Youll have the chance to work with cuttingedge tech grow your skills and make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy monitor and support InterSystems platforms in production environments.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support resolve incidents and lead root cause analysis.
- Use observability tools to detect and address system performance issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams on fixes and enhancements.
- Manage patches and upgrades with minimal disruption.
- Create clear documentation and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Participate in a 24/7 oncall rotation and respond to critical issues.
- Automate tasks and continuously improve support workflows.
Qualifications
- 5 years in application support system administration or technical ops.
- Strong Linux skills including Apache and scripting (Shell Python ObjectScript).
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana Prometheus or Splunk.
- Solid understanding of incident management and troubleshooting in production.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable in 24/7 support models and oncall rotations.
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Experience with InterSystems HealthShare IRIS or Cach.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure) containers (Docker Kubernetes).
- Exposure to healthcare IT or compliancedriven environments (HIPAA HITRUST).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (Ansible Terraform CI/CD pipelines).
