Job Description
Summary of major responsibilities
- Ability to conduct and organize manning when the Manager is not present
- Maintain inventory levels within the warehouse by planning organizing and directing activities
- Effectively use interdepartmental communication to ensure that orders are fulfilled according to schedule
- Supervise the picking and packing areas to ensure timeliness and customer orders accuracy
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish with the ability to effectively communicate and translate verbal and written information for team members and management.
- All other duties based on business needs
Job Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Maintain documentation for tracking attendance productivity behavior and safety while utilizing information for future implementations and improvements
- Performing physical labor such as lifting boxes moving inventory to storage areas or cleaning workspaces
- Basic working knowledge of attendance pay PTO and incentive policies
- Provide training to warehouse associates to ensure standards are followed
- Monitor warehouse staff heavy machinery and equipment while overseeing the security sanitation and administrative functions of the warehouse
- Perform as acting Manager during times of their absence
Qualifications include
- Fluent in English and Spanish with the ability to translate
- A minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience
- Experience using a computerized inventory system and handheld computers as well as a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet programs
- Experience providing leadership supervision and accountability while coaching mentoring and training. (Preferably in a warehouse environment)
- Able to become forklift certified
- Must pass company background check and drug test

- Lift 50lbs and perform physical labor such as lifting boxes storing inventory or cleaning workspaces
Job Type: Fulltime Hourly Position
- Hours are MondayFriday
- Leads are always on call
- Typical workweek is 4050 hours
- 7 am 3:30 pm Regular hours
- 7 am 5 pm if in Overtime
Compensation
- Hourly Position
- Pay based on experience and performance.
