At Databricks Information Technology we are a product led organization transforming the way data is sourced designed and used to help us scale seamlessly in face of incredible growth. We are looking for an experienced Data and Analytics Product Manager who will drive our enterprise data and AI strategy using Databricks own product set for all internal usecases.

As the Data and Analytics Product Manager you will work closely with leaders and partners across the company to form and deliver the roadmap of data and AI products aligned with our best practices and to meet our longterm goals. You will own the business outcomes of the data analytics and AI projects by working closely with the engineering and analytics teams.

You will join a growing Data Analytics Engineering & Integration team and will report to the Sr Director of Data Engineering Analytics and Integrations

The impact you will have:

  • Strategy: You will be responsible for defining the product vision and strategy for endtoend data analytics and AI products. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to identify business opportunities and define product requirements.
  • Product Sense: You will be able to get handson with the product to build your product sense on the features and the gaps. You will build prototypes for your end users to help them understand the value of the product.
  • Collaboration: You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely launch of highquality data products while also working with business teams to drive adoption of these products.
  • Analytics: You will step in as an analyst to quickly analyze the opportunities of data products to build measurement frameworks for your products and to quantify the business impact.

What we look for:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field and8 years of relevant product management experience; 6 years with relevant masters degree
  • Strong understanding of big data technologies such as Apache Spark etc. and related data products
  • Experience in launching analytics products for internal and external customers for driving efficiency and insights
  • Strong expertise in developing technical roadmaps and prototypes trying out new technologies and collaborating with a global set of team members
  • Strong data and metrics skills to backup assumptions recommendations and drive actions
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and be able to operate as a scrum master
  • Strong communication skills across all levels and personas within the company
