Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Director for University Student Success the Student Success Director for University College and the College of Education leads a dynamic and diverse team consisting of staff members across different levels external partners student employees as well as interns and graduate assistants. Their primary objective is foster seamless collaboration with college deans and faculty to guide freshman and sophomore students in making wellinformed decisions regarding their academic plans and career trajectories. This role requires supporting students in transitioning between paths actively contributing to the college leaderships strategic direction by leveraging your expertise in student success and leading activities and initiatives aimed at enhancing student retention progression and persistence. Austin Peay State University is a fouryear public doctorallevel university with six colleges and four Chairs of Excellence. The University has an enrollment of over 10000 students and is located in Clarksville Tennessee a community of an estimated 180000 people located approximately 40 miles northwest of Nashville TN.
