Washburn Center for Children is a leading childrens mental health center caring for a wide variety of childrens needs associated with anxiety depression behavioral difficulties and trauma.
The 142yearold nonprofit offers critical mental health intervention to help children and their families realize hope. Washburn Center for Children serves nearly 4800 children ages 018 and approximately 11000 family members each year. Washburn Centers three office locations Brooklyn Park Edina and Minneapolis serve the entire Twin Cities metro area. The nonprofit also offers inhome services and its schoolbased program serves 55 schools in the Eden Prairie Bloomington District 191 Columbia Heights and Minneapolis school districts.

Washburn Center has an opening for a full time Outpatient Therapist at our Minneapolis Office. This position will provide mental health assessment and treatment services to children and families in Spanish.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Treatment Clinicians will provide a combination of the following mental health services including:
* Conduct diagnostics assessments
* Develop and implement a treatment plan with the family based on the diagnosis
* Provide Individual and family therapy
* Care coordination including collaboration with psychiatrists and other professionals working with the child
* Create a discharge plan
Documentation Clinicians will be expected to maintain required documentation as specified in our Clinical Policy Manual including:
* Diagnostics assessments
* Treatment plans for each client
* Progress notes
* Outcome instruments and assessment tools
* Discharge summaries
* Satisfaction surveys
* Timely response of communications from the program director the supervisor or program support to ensure clear communication throughout the program
All clinicians are to ensure Minnesota and HIPAA data privacy requirements are followed.
Supervision and Professional Development Clinicians are expected to:
* Attend weekly supervision and case consultation present case information and formulation and identify questions for consultation and supervision.
* Provide clinical and administrative supervision for interns as assigned by the program supervisor based on licensure and experience and assist with providing training feedback and learning experiences for the program interns.
* Maintain required CEUs.
(Salary is based on several factors including but not limited to licensure work experience and education)

Vacation: Paid Vacation accrues at 10 hours of vacation per month up to 15 days / 120 hours annually.

Holidays: There are 2.5 days/20 hours of floating holidays per year in addition to the eight standard holidays.
