Position Overview:
Alvernia Universitys Occupational Therapy Department invites applications for a parttime adjunct faculty position to teach in our Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) program. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering highquality instruction in courses related to occupational therapy fostering student engagement and contributing to the academic mission of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach assigned courses in the MSOT program including preparation and delivery of lectures development of course materials and assessment of student performance.
- Support to students fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with fulltime faculty to ensure alignment with program goals and accreditation standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. Doctoral degree preferred but not required.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L).
- Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred but not required
- Commitment to student success and the mission of a Franciscan institution.
